Updated January 2023.

This document sets forth the Privacy Policy for the Adjutor Healthcare® website – https://www.adjutor.com.au/

Adjutor Healthcare® is committed to providing you with the best possible customer service experience.  Adjutor Healthcare® is bound by the Privacy Act 1988 (Crh), which sets out a number of principles concerning the privacy of individuals.

Adjutor Healthcare® will never use your personal information for any reason other than why you gave it, and will never give anyone access to it unless forced to by law.

What personal information we collect and why –

There are many aspects of the site which can be viewed without providing personal information, however, to engage with us you will be required to submit personally identifiable information.

Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site, we collect the data shown in the comments form and the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection. Visitor comments are checked through Akismet, an automated third party spam detection service.

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognise and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

An anonymised string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: Automattic Privacy Policy.

After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

Contact Forms

We use contact forms to collect information enabling us to provide our services to you. (Ninja Forms)

When you submit a contact form, we ask for contact information including your name, email address, and phone number (optional), so that we can reply to your inquiry.

Cookies

To improve your experience on this site, we use cookies. Cookies are an industry web standard and consist of a small text file that is placed on your browser as a tool to remember your preferences.

You can refuse the use of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings in your web browser. However if you do this you may not be able to use the full functionality of this website. If you leave a comment on the site, you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you don’t have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment.

Embedded content from other websites

Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website. These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracing your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics for tracking visitor behaviour. This service uses cookies and transmits website traffic data to Google servers in the United States. The Google privacy policy is available here: Google Privacy Policy. This collected information is used solely for the purpose of gauging visitor traffic, trends and delivering personalised content to you while you are at this Site. The information collected is anonymised, and includes data such as geolocation, browser type/version, device type, operating system, pages viewed while browsing the Site, page access times and referring website addresses. You will find a full list of the cookies in use by Google Analytics here – Google Analytics Cookie Usage If you wish to opt-out of Google Analytics whilst using this site, you can use this browser add-on – Google Analytics Opt-out Add-on

Site Security

We use Wordfence to manage the security of this website.

The IP address of visitors, user ID of logged in users, and username of login attempts are conditionally logged to check for malicious activity and to protect the site from specific kinds of attacks. Examples of conditions when logging occurs include login attempts, log out requests, requests for suspicious URLs, changes to site content, and password updates. The information in these security logs is retained for 14 days.

The Wordfence privacy policy is available here: Wordfence Privacy Policy.

Sharing of your personal information–

Your data is only shared with third party organisations which provide the services we use. This includes but may not be limited to: payment processors (PayPal), analytics (Google Analytics), anti-spam (Akismet), website security (Wordfence), email marketing (MailChimp), and RSS feeds (FeedBurner).

Adjutor Healthcare® takes all reasonable steps to ensure that these organisations are bound by confidentiality and privacy obligations in relation to the protection of your personal information.

Accessing Your Personal Information –

You have a right to access your personal information, subject to exceptions allowed by law.

You can request to receive an exported file of the personal data Adjutor Healthcare® holds about you, including any data you have provided to us.

You can also request that we erase any personal data Adjutor Healthcare® holds about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
