Job Title: Head of Development Regulatory & Commercialisation

Location: Australia (Remote – Flexible)

Client Base: Local and International

Department: Operations

Reports to: Chief Operating Officer (COO)

Job Type: Full Time

  • Manage and mentor staff working on projects across development planning and regulatory, nurturing an inclusive and collaborative culture.
  • Work on projects relating to the overall development and commercialisation of therapeutic goods including medicines, medical devices and cell and gene therapies.
  • Manage day to day HR activities for direct reports.
  • Support the business development team in meetings.
  • Design and implement operational plans, contribute to business strategy and risk management, alongside senior leadership, and support business development.
  • Be the company subject matter expert on regulatory matters, presenting at conferences and seminars.
  • Contribute to financial processes – assist with invoicing, budgeting and other applicable finance related tasks.
  • Significant industry experience in regulatory affairs, particularly within Australia and New Zealand (additional global exposure is a plus).
  • A thorough understanding of product development and commercialisation, and commercial drivers.
  • A bachelor’s degree in life sciences (postgraduate qualifications are highly regarded).
  • Demonstrated leadership and project management capabilities.
  • A collaborative, inclusive approach with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and problem‑solving skills.
